Job summary

Tyson Foods, Center Processing Plant in Center, Texas, is hiring for a Lead on 2nd shift in the thigh debone line. The role pays $19.25 per hour base plus a $1.00 shift differential for the 2nd shift.

This position will also monitor all equipment to insure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Assist Supervisor in day-to-day operations of debone operation. Job Synopsis: Primary tasks include department set-up; ensure USDA, production and HACCP requirements are met in area. Assist supervisor with monitoring shoulder cuts, mechanical issues with debones and meat supply. Make decisions on staffing assignments based upon product flow, product mix and attendance. Other responsibilities include relieving line personnel as needed, fill-in for absenteeism as necessary, wash down at breaks, and insure general housekeeping.
