Job summary

Aspen Technology, Inc. seeks a Principal Power Systems Engineer to lead design and delivery of advanced control systems for electric utilities. You will mentor engineers, define project requirements, and ensure designs meet customer specifications across power grids and OSI-related offerings.

Based in the Medina area, you will collaborate with customers and remote teams to support product development, and field deployments with travel to domestic and international sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Master's degree in Power Systems is preferred.
• Experience designing, implementing, and testing advanced power systems applications (State Estimator, Contingency Analysis, Study Power Flow, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Train, develop and manage the performance of direct reports.
• Lead the power-systems engineering team to meet project deadlines.
• Design, integrate, test and commission advanced control systems for electric utilities.
• Communicate requirements to internal teams and customers.
• Support live customer systems with OSI application knowledge.
