Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Lead Engineer, Systems Applications for the Power Solutions group to evolve from component-level to system-level power solutions for strategic markets.

You will define scalable power architectures, reference solutions, and platform strategies for aerospace, defence, and communications systems, translating customer needs into practical designs and product feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of power conversion, distribution, protection, isolation, thermal trade-offs, EMI/EMC, reliability, safety, and system design constraints.
• 7+ years of relevant system-level power experience in aerospace, defence, drones, robotics, or related platforms.
• Background as a systems architect or lead systems designer with ability to move between detailed design and high-level trade-offs.
• Hands-on familiarity with low-voltage, high-current power applications in mixed-signal systems is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end power architectures for priority applications, including conversion, distribution, protection, isolation, sequencing, telemetry, and thermal management.
• Translate requirements into solution proposals, reference architectures, evaluation plans, and feedback for products.
• Support architecture and application reviews for strategic opportunities, ensuring practical and differentiable solutions.
• Collaborate with product, systems, applications, marketing, sales, and customers to identify requirements and address technical questions.
• Create reusable technical collateral: design guides, simulations, reference designs, and training materials.
• Capture insights from customer engagements to inform product planning and field enablement.
• Communicate findings and impact through documentation, reviews, and presentations.
