Job summary

Dynapower seeks a Power Electronics Engineer to design, develop, modify and evaluate electronic parts for power systems. You will work with interdisciplinary teams to address complex product design and manufacturing challenges.

Responsibilities include leading feasibility studies, testing, producing design reports and coordinating with customers to define specifications, schedules and budgets. A Bachelors degree and strong communication are expected.

Qualifications

• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelor's degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong communication, organization and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Creates designs within inter-disciplinary teams addressing complex product design and manufacturing challenges.
• Leads feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
• Develops testing, engineering analysis, qualification testing and production launch.
• Responsible for failure analysis investigations and engineering evaluations.
• Maintains product documentation and produces design/test reports and manuals.
• Leads a team engaging with customers to solicit specifications, schedule and budgets.
