Job summary
LS ELECTRIC America, Inc. is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to lead power system estimation, technical reviews, and project documentation in Irving, TX. The role supports sales, project management, and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost estimates and compliant designs.
Candidates should have 10+ years in MV/LV distribution systems, familiarity with ANSI/IEEE/IEC/NEMA standards, and proficiency in ETAP, SKM, and AutoCAD. Occasional travel may be required.
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in MV/LV distribution systems estimation and technical review.
- Experience with vendor comparisons and cost estimation for power projects.
Responsibilities
- Estimate and cost power system projects with accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and review technical documents, specs, drawings, and reports.
- Evaluate power system designs for feasibility and efficiency.
- Analyze bid documents to shape technical and commercial strategies.
- Provide technical support to sales, PM, and procurement teams.
- Ensure solutions align with ANSI, IEEE, IEC, NEC, NEMA, NFPA 70E, UL.
- Identify technical risks and propose reliability improvements.
- Support procurement by gathering data and verifying vendor specs.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
