Job summary

Socket.dev in Midland, TX is seeking a working engineering leader to drive planning, development, and validation of Power Solutions projects. The role involves building and guiding a team, coordinating design, testing, and product release, and providing technical support to sales and clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Engineering is required.
5–10 years in Oil & Gas preferred; 2–4 years in Gas Facility Design & Construction preferred.
Ability to lead a team, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate Power Solutions engineering design activities.
Lead new product development including planning, scheduling, and cost estimation.
Design, develop and validate CNG engineering work and support design.
Manage projects from planning to product release, including testing.
Provide technical support to sales, clients, and operations.
Develop and maintain engineering specifications in code compliance.
Hire and lead the Engineering team; performance management and terminations.
Lead design of custom CNG equipment and facilities.
Lead troubleshooting and RCA activities.
Stay informed on CNG technologies and strategies.
