Job summary

You will collaborate with multi-functional teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality silicon architectures and topologies for next-generation products such as iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. The role requires completing designs from concept through production, including verification, testing, and process technology advancement, with travel about 20%.

Qualifications

• MS degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Understanding of control architectures for DC/DC converters (current/voltage/hysteretic).
• Experience in mixed-signal ICs with power management circuits and digital state machines.

Responsibilities

• Establish silicon requirements with Systems and Platform teams.
• Lead development and testing of power regulators, chargers, backlight drivers, and boost converters.
• Deliver first revision functional silicon and production-worthy silicon per system requirements on schedule.
• Collaborate with external vendors to ensure innovative design practices and processes.
• Manage development of new process technologies and next-gen architectures and circuits.
• Ensure designs are verified, validated, and tested for long-term reliability.
• Support validation and mass production approval across multi-functional teams.
• Approx. 20% travel.
