Job summary
Apple Inc. is seeking a senior Power Electronics Engineer to join the advanced power technology team in California. You will help develop innovative power architectures for next-generation products and work on efficiency, density, and reliability improvements.

Qualifications
- BSEE in power electronics with 10+ years experience.
- Experience with high frequency power conversion topologies in consumer electronics, computing, telecom, industrial/medical applications.
- Expertise in control loop design, Spice simulations and mathematical modeling.
- Experience in digital power control and embedded firmware development for power conversion.
- Understanding of safety, reliability and manufacturability aspects.
- Familiarity with novel concepts and research & development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize power architectures focusing on efficiency, density, reliability and overall figure of merit.
- Perform deep technical analysis, simulations, technology benchmarking, prototyping and testing of proposed concepts.
- Support technology transfer to the product team and collaborate with cross-functional groups.
