Job summary

Lucid Bots, Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Power Electronics / Electrical Systems Engineer to own the tether power system end to end, delivering about 7,000 W continuously with peaks to 10,000 W. You will work with a cross-functional team to arch/validate hardware that ships to customers.

You’ll design HV DC power transmission, DC-DC stages, size conductors, define protections, and own thermal management, grounding, and safety standards. Hybrid work at HQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Design the high-voltage DC power transmission architecture for the tether, including selection of transmission voltage to minimize conductor mass and resistive loss over tether length.
