Qualifications
At least 8+ years of relative experience in electrical hardware design is required.
Experience leading entire design cycles from concept to production.
Knowledge of ESS-related standards: UL1741, UL9540, and similar.
Responsibilities
Lead designs of power electronics products from requirements development to manufacturing transfer.
Assist system architect in developing product requirements from customer input.
Perform design analysis including DFMEA and worst-case circuit analysis.
Skills
High power (>1kW) power electronics design
Hazardous voltage design and testing (>120VAC)
Circuit analysis of power converter topologies
Debug and testing using standard lab equipment
Schematic capture process using ECAD tools
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
