Job summary

AMD is seeking a driven power architect to join the SOC Architecture team within the Computing and Graphics group. You will guide SoCs from concept through design execution and post-silicon, collaborating with SoC architecture definition, IP design, integration, platform, software, firmware, packaging and silicon validation to push power performance and battery life.

Qualifications

This role requires deep understanding of semiconductor power architecture and power delivery.
Experience with power integrity/signals, droop management, and capacitor types.
Experience designing and analyzing workloads for performance and power efficiency.
Ability to co-own power feature enablement with firmware and software teams.

Responsibilities

Lead modeling framework development for rapid prototyping and what-if analysis.
Define AMD power roadmap and targets for bounding box workloads with partners.
Analyze workloads to improve power efficiency per watt and battery life.
Drive cross-organization alignment for power convergence and feature deployment.
Coordinate with global teams to realize power features from concept to tape-out.
