Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• RPSGT or RST certification is required or eligible.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Three years of polysomnographic technologist experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing, scoring analysis and interventions.
• Supervise Polysomnographic Technicians and Trainees.
• Review history/physical, medications, test requests and study protocol.
• Complete pre- and post-sleep documentation and questionnaires.
• Explain procedures and orient patients to the sleep center.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment for testing and adjust as needed.
• Apply electrodes and sensors according to established standards.
• Perform physiological calibrations and ensure data quality.
• Perform PAP mask fitting and other therapeutic interventions.
• Follow sleep study protocols and Lights Out/On procedures.
• Document observations and data to support scoring and interpretation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements.
