Uponor is seeking a Senior Research Scientist to plan and conduct polymer pipe development research at our North American headquarters in Apple Valley, MN. The role requires leading projects within cross-functional teams and inspiring technical work across pipe development and manufacturing.

Strong polymer rheology background and experience with Stage Gate processes are highly valued. On-site collaboration with US and European partners is essential. Competitive benefits are offered.

Competenze

• Ph.D. in Polymer Science/Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• 7–10+ years of related experience.
• Industrial experience preferred.
• Experience in rheological characterization of polymer melts and networks.
• Knowledge of extrusion technology/manufacturing or pipe development is a plus.
• Stage Gate Process/Technology Gates experience is a plus.
• Candidates with the right expertise but less work experience will be considered.
