Job summary

AIRO Mechanical seeks a Plumbing Superintendent to lead on-site plumbing projects from initiation to completion. You will supervise technicians and subcontractors, ensure compliance with codes and safety standards, and maintain productive client relations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading plumbing projects in commercial/industrial settings.
• Deep knowledge of plumbing systems, installation methods and best practices.
• Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
• Familiarity with project management software/tools.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and safe construction practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
• Plumbing licenses/certifications are a plus.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage plumbing projects from start to finish, aligning with objectives and client expectations.
• Supervise plumbing technicians, subcontractors, and site personnel.
• Ensure installations meet specifications, codes and safety standards.
• Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings/inspections.
• Manage resources including materials, equipment, and labor for efficiency.
• Maintain strong client relations with timely updates.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues to minimize disruptions.
• Keep accurate project records (daily/progress/as-builts).
• Assist in monitoring budgets and controlling costs.
• Other duties as assigned.
