Job summary

Charlotte Mechanical is seeking an experienced Plumbing Superintendent to lead plumbing construction on projects in the Greenville, SC region. The role expects strong field leadership, the ability to manage crews and subcontractors, and a focus on safety, schedule, and quality.

Responsibilities include coordinating installation activities, reviewing drawings and budgets, and maintaining production with high workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience supervising commercial or multi-family plumbing construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation methods, and construction practices.
• Proven leadership experience managing field crews and subcontractors.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of local plumbing codes and ADA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise plumbing foremen, field personnel, and subcontractors.
• Plan and coordinate all plumbing installation activities from start to completion.
• Review project drawings, specifications, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Identify and resolve field conflicts, design issues, and construction challenges.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on every jobsite.
• Assist in managing project profitability and labor productivity.
