Job summary

Charlotte Mechanical is seeking an experienced Plumbing Superintendent to join our team and lead multi-family construction projects in the Raleigh, NC region. You will plan, coordinate, and oversee all plumbing installation activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to our quality standards.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong field leadership, mentor foremen and crews, manage subcontractors, read drawings, and address challenges quickly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience supervising commercial or multi-family plumbing construction.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation methods and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of local plumbing codes and ADA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise plumbing foremen, field personnel, and subcontractors.
• Plan and coordinate all plumbing installation activities from project start through completion.
• Review project drawings, specifications, schedules, and budgets; coordinate manpower and materials.
• Monitor project progress and adjust resources to maintain schedules.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance on jobsites.
