Job summary

Charlotte Mechanical in the Raleigh area is seeking an experienced Plumbing Superintendent to lead and coordinate plumbing construction on multi-family projects. The role emphasizes safety, schedule, budget, and quality, with accountability for field teams and subcontractors.

You will plan installation activities, review drawings and specs, manage resources, and resolve on-site issues, while promoting a strong safety culture and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience supervising commercial or multi-family plumbing construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation methods, and construction practices.
• Proven leadership experience managing field crews and subcontractors.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of local plumbing codes and ADA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise plumbing foremen, field personnel, and subcontractors.
• Plan and coordinate all plumbing installation activities from start to finish.
• Review project drawings, specifications, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress and adjust resources to meet schedules.
• Ensure compliance with codes and company standards; maintain quality and safety.
• Assist in managing project profitability and labor productivity.
• Evaluate and implement change orders when necessary.
