Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Senior Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer in New York to lead the design and delivery of comprehensive plumbing and fire protection systems from concept through completion. You will develop concepts, strategies, and reports while coordinating with owners, architects, and other disciplines.

This full-time role requires ABET-accredited engineering education and 7+ years of related experience, with NYC fire protection experience and PE registration preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree ABET-accredited in engineering.
• 7+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Experience on Fire Protection projects in New York City preferred.
• PE registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of plumbing and fire protection systems for projects from concept through completion.
• Develop fire protection and plumbing concepts, strategies, and reports for new buildings and renovations.
• Prepare technical drawings, calculations, and reports for data interpretation and presentation.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, and other disciplines to ensure project success.
• Remain current in latest plumbing and fire protection techniques and practices.
