Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for full-time HVAC and plumbing project work in California. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to review specs and calculations, ensuring accuracy and identifying value engineering opportunities.

We require 4+ years of plumbing/design experience and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and related tools is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of plumbing and design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Strong knowledge in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Autodesk Fabrication, Trane Trace, Revit, BlueBeam, and Navisworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with engineer, architects, and other teams.
• Ensure client satisfaction in early phase of upcoming projects.
• Review project specs, design engineering, and calculations for accuracy. Identify value engineering opportunities to present to clients.
• Work closely with general contractors and owners as well as other sub-contractors and MEP-design engineers.
