Job summary

County of Los Angeles is seeking a Plumber Supervisor to plan and supervise plumbing projects across county facilities. You will coordinate plumbers, carpenters, painters, electricians, and other trades; ensure code compliance, safety, and on-time completion. Travel to sites as needed.

Qualified candidates have three years of journey-level plumbing experience, an apprenticeship, and a California driver license. You will manage records in MAXIMO and prepare reports for the Sanitation Department.

Qualifications

• Three years of journey-level plumbing experience with installation, alteration, and repair.
• Supervisory experience preferred for leading crews.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret schematics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule plumbing projects for bureau personnel and contractors.
• Communicate with personnel, contractors, customers, vendors, and supervisors.
• Respond to emergency calls for service.
• Travel to job sites and inspect work to ensure quality.
• Maintain materials stock and use MAXIMO for timing and records.
