Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is seeking a Plumber III to install, repair, maintain, and modify piping systems across hospital facilities. The role covers steam, air, water, RO, medical gas (repairs only), and sprinkler systems, with responsibility for safety and coordination of major projects.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years in plumbing, 5+ years at journey level, solid knowledge of LA plumbing codes, and a valid California driver's license.
Monday-Friday, Day Shift
The Plumber III Installs, repairs, maintains, and modifies plant piping systems and related equipment. This includes steam, air, water, reverse osmosis (R.O.), medical gas system (repairs only), sanitary soil, fire sprinklers and vacuum systems. Ensures a safe environment for the workforce, patients and families. Oversees major repairs and construction to plan and coordinate specifications, placement, and routing of old, current, and future plumbed utilities.
10+ years of plumbing experience, including installation, maintenance and repairs, with 5+ year at the journey level. Knowledge of L.A. City Plumbing Codes and their applications. Valid California Drivers License required. Adherence to CHLA Operation of Vehicles for Business Purposes Policy.
High School diploma or equivalent. California Contractor license for plumbing and fire sprinkler preferred. Local Journeyman card preferred.
