Job summary

Southern Home Services is seeking a Plumbing Field Supervisor to oversee plumbing projects, manage teams, and ensure high workmanship standards. You will coordinate plumbers, enforce safety and codes, and communicate with clients on project progress.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on plumbing experience, a Journeyman license, and strong leadership with strong organizational skills. This role offers growth, competitive pay, and a vehicle may be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair of residential/commercial systems.
• Licensing: Active Journeyman Plumbing License; backflow prevention or gas piping certifications are a plus.
• Reading plans: Proficiency in blueprints, drawings, and job specs.
• Expertise: Install, maintain, and repair water, gas, and sewage systems; comply with codes.
• Safety: Knowledge of safety protocols and a safe work environment.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written skills with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate plumbers and apprentices on job sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and local plumbing codes.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control.
• Manage project timelines and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
• Resolve on-site issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
• Communicate with clients to address needs and provide updates.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with other trades and contractors on site.
• Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and progress.
• Provide training and guidance to team members.
