Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing seeks a Warehouse & Plumbing Operations Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse and plumbing activities while upholding safety, quality, and efficiency. Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and installation practices.
  • Experience supporting prefabrication or material staging for construction projects is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with solid analytical and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency with modern technology including laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations and plumbing-related activities.
  • Enforce safety policies and OSHA compliance.
  • Plan and manage workflow, manpower, and goals to maintain efficiency.
  • Promote continuous improvement using Lean methods (5S, Kaizen, standardized work).
  • Oversee inventory processes and material flow with procurement and project teams.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and support investigations and corrective actions.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to staff.
  • Maintain strong communication with leadership, PMs, and field teams.

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse & Plumbing Operations Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse and plumbing-related operational activities while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This role is responsible for leading warehouse and field/shop personnel including Supervisors, Plumbers, Apprentices, and Helpers while ensuring all work aligns with company policies, plumbing codes, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations and plumbing-related activities (prefabrication, material staging, and jobsite support).
  • Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and plumbing safety standards.
  • Plan and manage workflow, manpower, and operational goals while maintaining efficiency and minimizing downtime.
  • Quality & Continuous Improvement
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives including Lean principles such as 5S, Kaizen, and standardized work practices.
  • Resource & Inventory Management
    • Oversee inventory processes including receiving, storage, and tracking of plumbing materials (pipe, fittings, valves, fixtures).
    • Coordinate with procurement and project teams to maintain proper material flow.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and support incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to support employee development.
  • Maintain strong communication with leadership, project managers, and field teams. Required Qualifications
