Job summary

The role requires extensive journeyman experience and a five-year plumbing apprenticeship, with demonstrated leadership in coordinating teams, managing materials, and communicating with campus

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a journeyman plumber with at least 3 years leading plumbing work.
• Ability to assign work and direct plumbing staff.
• Ability to assess staff performance for quality and timeliness.
• Experience coordinating staff training programs.
• Ability to order materials, manage stock, and procurement.
• Experience in evaluating staff performance for evaluations.
• Five-year plumbing apprenticeship completed.

Responsibilities

• Install, alter, maintain, and repair campus plumbing systems, fittings, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications for projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and facility managers.
• Lead and supervise plumbing staff; assign tasks and monitor progress.
• Perform planned and emergency maintenance and document work performed.
