Required.**JOB SUMMARY**The lead plumber plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and functional healthcare environment and ensures the safe and efficient operation of all plumbing-related systems across the main campus and all affiliated buildings. This position is responsible for overseeing all plumbing related operations, working collaboratively with Facilities Management leadership and other departments to assure compliance with all applicable local, state and federal codes and standards, as well as healthcare industry standards and requirements. The lead plumber is expected to respond promptly to issues and emergencies, and to diagnose and efficiently resolve them so as to minimize downtime and disruption to patient care.This position performs hands-on skilled work at the journeyman/master level and provides leadership and direction to plumbing personnel within the Engineering Department, upholding safety standards and protocols and ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
