Job summary

Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction is seeking a Plumber Lead Worker at Mansfield Correctional Institution. The role includes directing plumbers and inmates, installing and repairing plumbing, and ensuring maintenance of facilities within a secure environment.

Qualifications

• 18 months training in plumbing under supervision of experienced plumber.
• 6 months of experience as Plumber 1 or equivalent.
• Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

Responsibilities

• Lead worker over plumbers or trades workers and/or inmates engaged in plumbing work; install, modify and repair plumbing.
• Install water, steam and gas lines and connect laundry, laboratory and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain building facilities and equipment and inspect pipes and fixtures for corrosion.
