Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Lead Plumber to manage Residential, Multifamily and Light Commercial service calls throughout the DMV region. The role includes a take-home company vehicle, dispatch from home, and company-provided tools for year-round work.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Plumbing experience, strong troubleshooting and customer communication skills, and the ability to mentor junior plumbers while handling Drain Cleaning and Sewer Diagnostics as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Residential, Multifamily or Light Commercial Plumbing experience.
• Strong Plumbing Troubleshooting, Service, Repair and Installation skills.
• Experience with Drain Cleaning and Sewer Line Diagnostics.
• Ability to independently manage Service Calls from a home-dispatch schedule.
• Strong customer communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to guide or support less-experienced Plumbers in the field.

Responsibilities

• Handle Residential, Multifamily and Light Commercial Service Calls throughout the DMV area.
• Perform Service and Installation work with take-home company vehicle and home-dispatch.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues, ensure professional customer communication.
• Mentor less-experienced plumbers and support field crew as needed.
• Handle Drain Cleaning, Sewer Diagnostics, Hydro Jetting when required.

Job Details

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Lead Plumber to handle Residential, Multifamily and Light Commercial Service Calls throughout the DMV area. This position includes a take-home company vehicle, dispatch from home, company-provided tools and steady year-round work.

The ideal candidate can independently troubleshoot Plumbing issues, complete Service and Installation work, communicate professionally with customers and help guide or mentor less-experienced Plumbers. Work may also include Drain and Sewer Service, Hydro Jetting and Construction Warranty Calls.

MUST HAVE:

• 5+ years of Residential, Multifamily or Light Commercial Plumbing experience
• Strong Plumbing Troubleshooting, Service, Repair and Installation skills
• Experience with Drain Cleaning and Sewer Line Diagnostics
• Ability to independently manage Service Calls from a home-dispatch schedule
• Strong customer communication and documentation skills
• Ability to guide or support less-experienced Plumbers in the field
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions

NICE TO HAVE:

• 10+ years of Plumbing experience
• Hands-on Hydro Jetting experience
• Experience with Jetter Machines, RIDGID SeeSnake, Locators, K-50, K-60, K-1500 or other Cable Machines
• Completed accredited Plumbing Apprenticeship Program
• Journeyman or Master Plumber License
• Construction Warranty Service experience
• Multifamily or Apartment Service experience
• Experience with Water Heaters, Fixtures, Piping Repairs and Sewer Systems
• Backflow Certification or testing experience
• Previous Lead Plumber, Foreman, training or mentoring experience
