Job summary

Inframark is seeking an Applications Department Manager to oversee PLC and HMI/SCADA projects, manage direct reports, and ensure quality deliverables across a portfolio of initiatives. You will work with the Applications Department Director and project managers to optimize performance and profitability.

The role requires 7+ years in PLC/HMI/SCADA and a relevant bachelor’s degree, with travel up to 25% and a focus on training and process improvement. Office and jobsite work are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mechatronics, or electrical engineering preferred.
• 7+ years of PLC and HMI/SCADA programming experience, with at least 5 years in Water & Wastewater.
• Proven leadership and strong communication to guide teams effectively.

Responsibilities

• Establish project execution standards and best practices.
• Oversee development and performance of direct reports.
• Ensure delivery and quality of PLC/HMI/SCADA work products across projects.
• Participate in staffing decisions to ensure proper resource levels.
