Job summary

Inframark is seeking a PLC/HMI Field Applications Specialist to lead instrumentation and control projects for water and wastewater systems. You will implement, configure, and test SCADA/HMI, develop PLC applications, and support startup, commissioning, and training across multiple sites.

The role requires field service experience, strong knowledge of control systems, and the ability to work with customers and teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent with 3 years field service in instrumentation and control systems.
• Knowledge of control systems and process instruments.
• Basic electrical and networking knowledge.
• Familiarity with Electrical & P&ID drawings (P&ID).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret project requirements with the Project Manager and review contract documents.
• Configure HMI/SCADA, set up system servers, and perform startup and training.
• Develop PLC applications, perform commissioning and provide on-site service.
• Provide technical support and generate final project documentation.
