Job summary

Carrier's Automated Logic, a Carrier Company, is seeking a Lead PLC Field Engineer to own complex PLC-based control systems from mobilization to customer acceptance on a Sullivan, Indiana project.

You will serve as the senior technical authority, guiding field teams, troubleshooting advanced Bryan environments, and coordinating with customers and project managers. The role demands hands-on leadership and extensive PLC programming experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of professional experience in Controls, Industrial Automation, HVAC, Electrical Systems or Industrial Networking.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead PLC Field Engineer for Sullivan, Indiana project from mobilization through startup, commissioning and customer acceptance.
• Provide daily onsite responsibility for Sullivan project execution, field coordination, startup support, commissioning readiness, and issue resolution.
• Serve as the senior technical field authority for complex PLC-based control projects.
• Lead end-to-end execution from field mobilization and I/O checkout through startup, commissioning, integrated testing, and customer acceptance.
• Program, commission, troubleshoot, and optimize Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
