Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, specify components, assemble, install, test and maintain automation and control systems.
• Troubleshoot automation and control systems using appropriate tools and test equipment.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspect and test electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and necessary repairs.
• Ensure electrical systems meet local, regional and national safety standards.
• Navigate and understand PLC programs and component communication protocols.
• Train and mentor other maintenance team members in electrical, automation and control systems.
• Use hand and power tools to disassemble and reassemble manufacturing equipment.
• Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot mechanical systems and equipment.
• Operate forklifts and lifting equipment.
• Manage projects and coordinate with suppliers for parts.
