Job summary
Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix is seeking an Advanced Electrical Engineer to lead design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems. You will work on hybrid schedule reporting to the Test Engineering Manager.
The role requires a Bachelor's in a technical field and 4+ years in electrical and facility control systems, plus PLC programming across Emerson, Allen-Bradley, Phoenix Contact, and Automation Direct. AutoCAD Electrical and LabVIEW experience are valued.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required.
- 4+ years in electrical and facility control systems.
- 4+ years PLC programming across multiple platforms including Emerson, Allen-Bradley, Phoenix Contact and Automation Direct.
- Experience leading teams and writing software from scratch.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop and test PLC programs for new and existing equipment.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
- Define controls system requirements and develop functional specifications.
- Lead implementation and testing of new systems with cross-functional teams.
- Create and revise designs using AutoCAD Electrical including BOM and wiring.
- Document operation, maintenance and repair procedures.
- Troubleshoot electrical/electronic issues using test equipment.
