Job summary

Rush Street Interactive, a leader in online casino and sports betting, seeks a Lead Analyst to own growth and player behavior analytics across sportsbook, casino and poker. This high-visibility role partners with Revenue Ops, Marketing, Product and VIP to surface insights that drive engagement and retention.

You will apply ML tools, conduct segmentation and funnel analyses, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in analytics, ideally within gaming, sports betting, or a consumer product with meaningful behavioral data.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative field preferred.
• Strong SQL fundamentals; proficient with window functions, CTEs, and advanced aggregations.
• Comfortable working directly in Snowflake with large datasets.
• Proven ability to distill complex analysis into clear narratives for non-technical audiences.
• Solid understanding of A/B testing and experimental design and interpreting results for business impact.
• Experience with funnel and cohort analysis, modeling lifecycle stages, retention curves, engagement funnels.
• Working knowledge of ML concepts and applying AI tools to analytics workflows.
• Familiarity with dbt transformation workflows and model structuring preferred.
• Python proficiency for analysis, automation, or lightweight ML work preferred.
• Experience in gaming or iGaming, sportsbook, casino, or poker product mechanics and player economics.
• Experience with incentive or promotion analytics is a plus.
• Able to travel occasionally domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Growth & retention analytics: partner with Rev Ops, Marketing, Product and VIP to drive growth and long-term retention.
• Bonus performance & optimization: end-to-end analytics on bonus programs, measure, engage, and optimize ROI.
• Player behavior & segmentation: analyze in-platform behavior to uncover engagement patterns and monetization opportunities.
• Advanced analytics & AI tooling: apply ML techniques and AI tools to accelerate insight generation and predictive modeling.
