Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a high-scale environment.
• Lead experience is desired.
• Experience building and operating production systems using an OO language (C#, Java, C++).
• Experience designing and delivering distributed systems at scale.
• Strong IaC and automated deployment pipeline experience.
• Deep knowledge of reliability, observability, and operational excellence.
• Experience guiding architectural decisions across teams.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and long-term evolution of large-scale security services.
• Own complex initiatives spanning authentication, authorization, identity, and secure access.
• Influence architecture balancing security, reliability, and developer experience.
• Promote high-quality engineering practices, testing, and incident response.
• Build shared libraries and frameworks for security practices across the company.
• Collaborate with engineers, SREs, and stakeholders to deliver secure-by-default platforms.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
• Participate in on-call rotations and lead security incidents.
• Explore AI-driven approaches to security posture and risk modeling.
• This role thrives in ambiguity and drives outcomes for the broader platform.
