Booz Allen Hamilton in McLean, VA is seeking a Lead Platform and Reliability Engineer to build and run the secure, reliable foundation for enterprise AI deployments. You will provide cloud infrastructure, runtimes, model access, deployment pipelines, and observability to enable engineering teams to deliver AI solutions.

The role requires experience in cloud infrastructure, IaC, containers, SRE, logs/metrics, and LLM operations.

Qualifications

Experience building and operating production infrastructure in major cloud platforms.
Experience with infrastructure as code, containers, orchestration, and CI/CD.
Experience applying SRE practices including alerting and disaster recovery.
Experience centralized logs, metrics, traces and dashboards.
Knowledge of LLM operational requirements and model gateways.
Ability to document support responsibilities and coordinate handoffs.
Bachelor's degree and eligibility for government clearance.

Responsibilities

Build and operate secure, reliable shared platform foundations.
Provide cloud infrastructure, runtimes, model access, deployment pipelines, and observability.
Automate environments and security controls; monitor availability, latency, throughput, and cost.
Lead shared-platform incident response and recovery.
Coordinate with AI/ Data/ Forward-Deployed Engineering to validate readiness.
