Job summary

Toyota North America is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure/Platform Engineer to lead the implementation, reliability, and operational excellence of platform and infrastructure capabilities at TBMNC in North Carolina.

You will provide technical leadership across platform services, manage a third-party integration team, and ensure Agile practices are followed while aligning with OneTech and TMNA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, system integration, or operations in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with SQL: query development, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and data analysis.
• Experience with databases, reporting solutions, and data integration across systems.
• Experience implementing and supporting Siemens OpCenter, MES, MOM, or related manufacturing platforms.
• Understanding of availability, resiliency, access management, logging, monitoring, and incident response.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications and supporting technical connectivity across systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and drive resolution with internal/external teams.
• Experience with Agile delivery practices, backlog management, and Jira/Git usage.

Responsibilities

• Support design, implementation, testing, and deployment of infrastructure and platform solutions for internal customers.
• Own and maintain technical platform components focusing on reliability, scalability, performance, and supportability.
• Support integration patterns between enterprise systems, databases, manufacturing platforms, and infrastructure services for secure data flow.
• Write, optimize, and support SQL queries, stored procedures, and database-facing integrations for reporting and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and improve platform performance; identify bottlenecks and reduce latency across infrastructure and data flows.
