The Lead, Platform Engineering — Gaming New Tech & Infrastructure owns the technical strategy, architecture, and platform health for Royal Caribbean Group’s casino and gaming technology — a $2B business ($2.5B+ by 2031) spanning slots, tables, arcade, bingo, cage / cashless, player tracking, and the Casino Operations Hub. This role bridges execution, architecture, and real‑time fleet alignment as the organization brings gaming technology in‑house — starting with internally built arcade readers — reducing vendor dependence and unlocking new revenue levers across a complex, multi‑vendor systems landscape. The Lead provides technical direction and decision authority across gaming systems, drives deployment and upgrade strategy, and coordinates cross‑org and external partners to sustain platform growth, security, and reliability.
