EPAM Systems Georgia is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer to design and maintain internal platforms that empower development teams with self-service deployment, monitoring and management of applications at scale. You will lead cross-functional collaboration to promote best practices across teams and drive platform reliability.

Key focus areas include cloud and container technologies, infrastructure as code, GitOps, and IDPs to enable rapid delivery, strong observability, and high availability

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform engineering or related role.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices and cloud technologies.
• Proficiency with containerization and IaC tools.
• Familiarity with IDPs and GitOps for cloud resources.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain internal platforms for self-service deployment, monitoring and management at scale.
• Develop and maintain standardized tools, frameworks and libraries across teams.
• Integrate development tools within the platform ecosystem for many teams.
• Improve developer experience with robust docs, training and support.
• Ensure high availability, reliability and performance of platforms.
• Use DORA metrics to measure and improve development and operations processes.
• Stay updated on trends to enhance platform functionality and productivity.
• Collaborate with development, operations and security teams for seamless integration.
• Provide guidance and support to resolve platform-related issues.
