Job summary

Socure is seeking a Senior Business Systems Engineer - Product & Engineering Platforms to own and evolve systems supporting product planning, engineering execution, and cross-functional delivery. You will be the technical owner for Jira, Aha!, and related tools, translating business requirements into scalable configurations and integrations while improving governance and data quality.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, TPM, and Finance to align planning processes across platforms,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in business systems engineering, enterprise applications, or related role.
• Strong hands-on experience implementing and administering Jira and related Atlassian products.
• Experience supporting product management, engineering delivery, portfolio management, or enterprise work-management platforms.
• Experience configuring workflows, schemas, fields, permissions, automations, dashboards, and reporting.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience with APIs, webhooks, integrations, data migration, and enterprise app architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own product and engineering platforms (Jira, Aha!, Confluence) and manage configuration, upgrades, security, integrations, data quality, and maintenance.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, TPM, Product Operations, and Finance to translate requirements into practical system designs.
• Improve governance and data quality; define standards for fields, workflows, permissions, and ownership.
• Develop testing, validation, rollback, and change-management plans for releases.
• Build dashboards and reporting for governance and visibility; support executive reporting and portfolio insights.
• Lead platform adoption; create documentation, training, and power-user guidance.
