Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer/DevOps - AWS to own EKS cluster management, automation, and platform reliability for a global Cloud Hosting team. You will collaborate with customers to streamline development on cloud infrastructure, write designs, and contribute to release planning.

Required are 5+ years in infra/DevOps, leadership experience, strong Kubernetes and Terraform/AWS familiarity, and solid scripting skills in Python or Bash. On-call rotation participation is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or DevOps roles.
• 1+ year of leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes with Vault, Kyverno and policy management.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage EKS clusters and automations across the global Cloud Hosting team.
• Develop high quality, stable code for automation and internal APIs.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide customer support for Cloud Eng services.
• Write High Level Designs and developer documentation.
• Design for privacy, security, high availability and performance.
