Job summary

SirenOpt in the San Leandro, CA area is seeking a Lead Software Engineer who will own critical subsystems, guide architectural decisions, and raise the bar on quality and performance across our platform.

You will mentor engineers, drive project cycles, and foster a collaborative, mission-driven culture while delivering scalable sensing and data visualization solutions for industrial manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript Node web stacks.
• Experience with Linux environments and related tooling.
• Experience building or integrating data visualization systems.
• Proven track record leading teams and delivering complex projects.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and scaling of critical subsystems.
• Make strategic architectural decisions and drive quality improvements.
• Mentor and coach team members and provide feedback.
• Provide actionable code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Plan, prioritize, and deliver on team and company goals.
