Moderna is seeking an accomplished Platform Engineer to design and evolve secure developer platforms and AI-assisted workflows. You will partner with cybersecurity, architecture, and engineering leaders to set standards and drive adoption of shared capabilities across teams.

With 10+ years of software/ platform engineering experience, you will guide secure delivery patterns, tooling, and operational practices while mentoring engineers and influencing roadmaps across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering or platform engineering experience.
• Strong experience designing and operating developer platforms and CI/CD systems.
• Proficient coding in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript; solid AWS experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and build secure platform capabilities using Python/TypeScript, GitHub Actions, Pulumi, Docker, AWS, and APIs.
• Lead the design of AI runtime safety and AI gateway patterns, including policy enforcement and telemetry.
