The role involves developing process parameters, improving product quality, and collaborating with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to enhance throughput and equipment effectiveness.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-7+ years of experience in plastics processing or manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with rotational molding and thermoplastic processing.

Aufgaben

• Provide engineering ownership and day-to-day technical support for the rotational lining machine and process, from material prep through heating, rotation, cooling, inspection, and finished-product evaluation.
• Develop, document, and optimize rotational lining parameters, including temperature profiles, heating time, rotation speed, cooling cycles, loading, and part positioning.
• Establish process windows and standards for consistent lining thickness, coverage, surface quality, and finished-product integrity.
• Troubleshoot defects and process variation (thickness, coverage, voids, surface defects, material degradation).
• Evaluate thermoplastic materials and how properties affect finished lining.
• Improve cycle time, repeatability, throughput, scrap/rework, and overall equipment effectiveness.
