Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Lead Process Technician with plastic extrusion expertise. You will lead production, coordinate with engineers and maintenance, and ensure safe, efficient output while maintaining quality standards.

Emphasis on troubleshooting, process improvements, and training team members across shifts. Reporting to Production Manager, you will monitor equipment, implement SOPs, and drive yield improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in plastic extrusion manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
• Knowledge of extrusion equipment and safety/quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee setup, start-up, and changeovers for production lines.
• Monitor processes to keep equipment within parameters.
• Schedule inspections and address abnormalities and deviations.
• Supervise process technicians and provide guidance.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Train operators in equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve processes and efficiency.
• Maintain production records and report issues to management.
