Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. in California is seeking a plasmapheresis Technician responsible for performing venipunctures and operating plasmapheresis equipment to collect plasma.

You will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, protect donor confidentiality, and maintain accurate records and machine logs. This role requires strong customer service, attention to safety, and flexibility for day and evening hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 months’ medical/healthcare experience preferred.
• Documentation of training completed before duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP to maintain standards.
• Deliver high-quality donor service and uphold donor confidentiality.
• Monitor donor conditions and ensure donor comfort and product quality.
• Prepare equipment and perform venipuncture and plasmapheresis; label units accurately.
• Operate and troubleshoot plasmapheresis machines and document incidents.
• Maintain clean work areas and manage supplies and inventory.
