Job summary

Schuff Steel Co. is seeking a Plant Safety Manager to lead daily health, safety, and environmental oversight, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and industry best practices while promoting a proactive safety culture on the plant floor.

You will develop JHAs, conduct training, lead investigations, manage SOPs, and engage employees and supervisors to drive safer operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of safety experience in manufacturing or industrial construction.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and applicable regulations.
• Professional safety certification (CHST, ASP, CSP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site safety programs and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct safety orientations and ongoing training.
• Investigate incidents and perform root cause analyses.
• Maintain EHS documentation and records.
• Track safety performance indicators.
