Job summary

Ethos is seeking a Plant Engineer to lead engineering activities in a state‑of‑the‑art food manufacturing environment. You will own capital projects from concept to completion, implement preventive and predictive maintenance, TPM, and drive continuous improvements to maximize plant performance.

You will supervise a maintenance team, ensure safety standards, and tackle both short-term fixes and long‑term solutions to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 8+ years’ relevant experience; or equivalent combination
• Food Manufacturing industry experience is required
• High level leadership, organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and adaptability
• Advanced technical skills in mechanical/electrical fields and leading resource planning
• Expertise in maintenance systems, work orders, preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM
• Ability to use exposure monitoring equipment and interpret results
• Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of capital projects from concept to completion, managing all elements to minimize plant disruption
• Develop and implement cutting-edge maintenance systems to maximize uptime (preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM)
• Lead the maintenance team through delegation, policies, and guidance for safe, efficient work
• Provide short-term fixes and long-term solutions to daily operational challenges
• Ensure plant operations meet safety, food safety, and environmental standards
