Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Planner Scheduler to own day-to-day work order management and short-term production scheduling in a complex manufacturing setting. You will release, prioritize, sequence, and close work orders in SAP, while adapting schedules to real-time shop floor conditions.

You will ensure SAP data accuracy, drive on-time completion, and collaborate with Manufacturing and project teams to maintain schedule adherence. This in-office role is based in Somerset, NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in manufacturing/ops.
• 5+ years in Manufacturing Planning, Scheduling, or Production Control.
• Experience building and adjusting end-to-end production schedules.
• Hands-on SAP MRP experience for material planning and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Own daily work order management in SAP, including release and closure.
• Execute and adjust short-term production schedules based on shop floor conditions.
• Monitor order status and drive timely completion, implementing recovery actions.
