Job summary

Worley is seeking a Principal Pipe Stress Engineer to join our global team delivering safe, code-compliant piping systems across FEED, detailed design, brownfield and greenfield projects. You will lead stress analyses, review layouts, and guide junior engineers, ensuring equipment loads and performance meet client requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Mechanical, Structural, Civil, and Process teams, supporting procurement and construction, and ensuring adherence to ASME

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• PE license in at least one US jurisdiction; Texas preferred.
• Experience in piping stress analysis for oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, refining, energy or EPC/EPCM projects.
• Strong knowledge of CAESAR II and related tools; familiarity with ASME B31.1 and B31.3.

Responsibilities

• Lead piping stress analysis activities for FEED, detailed design, brownfield and greenfield projects.
• Perform piping flexibility and stress analyses using CAESAR II and other applicable software.
• Develop stress-related deliverables: line lists, calculation indices, stress calculations and dossiers.
• Review piping layouts and optimize routing, supports and equipment loads.
• Mentor junior stress engineers and coordinate with global project teams.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Process, and Construction teams; support bids and construction.
