Job summary

EGC Construction, an operating unit of Messer Construction Co., is seeking an EGC Process and Utility Piping Foreman for projects in the Food & Beverage and Pharmaceutical fields. The position is based in Newport, KY, with responsibilities across process/utility piping systems and strong focus on safety, quality, and client relations.

The candidate will mentor craft workers, manage subcontractor coordination, read P&IDs and isometrics, ensure correct materials and welding procedures, and support

Qualifications

• 8+ years construction experience (3+ years in a foreman/leadership capacity).
• OSHA 30 Certified.
• Must be a self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn and understand various processes and software.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and grow lead craft workers.
• Manage contract administration and field meetings.
• Read and interpret P&IDs and isometrics.
• Ensure materials meet specifications and welding procedures.
• Develop client relations and coordinate with on-site staff.
• Lead meetings with clients for problem resolution and planning.
• Manage site labor to meet productivity goals.
• Assist PMs in labor/materials/rentals planning for change orders.
• Plan project completion and turnover, with daily records.
